Rafael V. S. Bastos is a psychologist who holds a Master’s in Psychometrics. Although most of their work revolves around psychometrics, they are also interested in meta-science, psychopathologies, social psychology, and developing/testing innovative modeling techniques. Rafael is also an ABRIR collaborator and consultant for statistics and psychometrics.
They have been involved in research since the beginning of their bachelor studies in Brazil. They firmly believe that academic knowledge should be open, free, diverse, and accessible. Rafael actively shares his expertise through his YouTube channel (@psicometricalab), where he provides Brazilians with the latest academic insights.
