Our Mission

ABRIR is a working group that aims to diagnose the unique barriers to leadership & participation in Big-team/Open Science faced by researchers from LMICs (low-to-middle income countries).

Supported by The Society for the Improvement of Psychological Science’s Grants-In-Aid 2022, we will be hosting a workshop series titled Increased Representation: A Vision for Inclusive Big Team Science from Sept 22-24th, hosted by Universidad de Sonora. With hopes of reaching researchers from LMIC, this workshop series will take us through the building blocks of Big-team/Open Science, build important skills towards grant funding and proposing collaborative projects and conclude with hackathons towards PSA and FORRT projects.
