Its goal is to engage Arabic-speaking neuroscientists through hands-on experiences, kick-starting their careers, and to also inspire research collaborations among them and the wider scientific community worldwide, driving meaningful advancements in the field.
Arabs in Neuroscience and ABRIR are working towards reducing barriers to neuroscience research and teaching in developing countries.
Latino-European Social Psychological Network (LaEUMiDI)
LaEUMiDI (Latino-European Social Psychological Network) is hosted by the Migration & Diversity Lab at the University of Limerick (Ireland) under the supervision of Dr. Anca Minescu and in collaboration with Dr. Pablo de Tezanos-Pinto, Global MINDS students and alumni from the Global South, as well as Ph.D. students. The Network is sponsored by EASP (European Association of Social Psychology). They are focused on migration, displacement, and inclusion while connecting researchers from Europe and Latin America. The Migration & Diversity Research Lab is linked to Sanctuary with Psychology project where Masters and PhD researchers from different backgrounds and nationalities, provide socio-psychological support and collaborate with NGOs and communities, in particular working with migrants, refugees, and other ethnic minorities in Ireland. They bring a range of expertise in working with local NGOs and community groups in applying social psychological knowledge to the social inclusion of newcomers to Ireland.
